10 Mistakes WWE Made With Alberto Del Rio

3. Dropping The Angle With The Wyatt Family

Speaking of the Wyatt Family, the night after WrestleMania 32 saw the seeds for a potential rivalry sown, as the Bray and his brothers would emerge to ambush the League of Nations.

The following week, Wyatt would then form an unusual alliance with Roman Reigns to face the team of Del Rio and Sheamus. However, that was the last we saw of a possible feud between the two factions as the tension simply fizzled out into nothing.

Admittedly this was a result of Bray picking up an injury on the European tour, but that didn’t necessarily mean they had to curtail the rivalry completely.

There would have been nothing wrong having Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman continue to do Bray’s bidding, with the Family's patriarch operating exclusively as a mouth piece. Then, when he was fully healed, simply slot him back into the thick of it and you’ve got yourself an awesome few matches just waiting to take place.

Again, this just felt like another missed opportunity that could have gone some way to salvaging Del Rio and his faction’s credibility.
