10 MMA Fighters You Want To See Knocked Out In 2020
8. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
For a time, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson was seen as one of the legitimate top Mixed Martial Artists on the planet.
Whether you're talking about his devastating run with Pride or his exploits inside of the UFC Octagon, 'Rampage' was bonafide box office and often backed up his brash words with brutal actions.
That was until he became a weird circus attraction inside of Bellator and found himself going head-to-head with other past-their-best contenders in the form of Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva. It became blatantly clear that Bellator were just trying to suck in fans with the promise of seeing a glimpse of one of the MMA stars of days gone by, when in reality, Jackson should have been nowhere near a contest from 2017 onwards.
Keen to keep pulling in the dollar, a clearly overweight/unprepared Jackson went one step further in 2019 and seemed to literally give up at the first signs of conflict during his battle with (another idol of yesteryear) Fedor Emelianenko.
You can bet that Jackson and Bellator will try to find a way to exploit MMA fans into tuning into yet another one of the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion's bouts in 2020. If that is the case, then hopefully he eats a sharp shot from his opponent and decides to permanently call it quits on his MMA career.
Or perhaps Bellator will finally sense just what danger they're putting these ancient warriors through and cease trying to profit from the egos of the one-time top stars of the sport.
