Sasha Banks has been pushing herself further every time she's stepped into the sinister structure. She has amplified the intensity of the bumps she's taking but also that of her storytelling, reinvigorating the Cell stipulation with every immaculate performance. It's only fitting that her best Cell match to date happened with her greatest opponent, Bayley.

The two redefined what women could do in WWE with their nuanced narratives and breathtaking matches. They get audiences invested with their work and fans were desperate to watch this long awaited sequel to their NXT feud. The spots were brutal, with kendo sticks, turnbuckle bumps and chair spots sending shivers down the spine with their impact - but the storytelling was even better.

The worst thing the PG era has done to the stipulation is that it often just feels like something that's happening because of the annual PPV. This needed to be in that cage, not just because of the narrative leading in, but through every expression and action the two women shared with each other. You could feel the heartbreak and anger in Sasha immediately and it lasted even after her hand was raised. It is a transcendent display of what these matches are capable of.
