10 Moments That Literally Stopped AEW Wrestling Matches

The first episode of AEW Dynamite on October 2nd 2019 was a landmark moment in pro wrestling history.

Not only did it crown the first ever AEW Women's Champion, not only did it mark the highest ever TV debut on TNT for the past five years, it also sent the message that WWE wasn't the only game in town.

That being said, that show's main event had some seriously dodgy booking.

During a six-man tag team match pitting Chris Jericho and Proud and Powerful against The Elite, a wild Jon Moxley appeared and laid waste to Kenny Omega. The two rivals brawled all over the arena, their scrap eventually culminating when Moxley hit a Death Rider on Kenny through a glass table.

The tag team match was briefly halted - as it should have been - but, once Kenny and Moxley had been carted off, it just carried right on. Even though The Young Bucks' partner had just survived an attempted murder.

Despite the actual wrestling being stellar, the internal logic of this match left a lot to be desired. None of that matters though, because that glass table spot was incredible.
