'The streak’s last victory came following The Undertaker’s last great WrestleMania match. 'The Deadman' fought CM Punk on the back of an ugly, brutal feud, one which kicked off with one of the most iconic ring entrances of 'Taker’s career.

Emerging through a forest of grasping, zombified hands, Undertaker chilled the cocky, fired-up Punk to the bone. Punk had been absolutely relentless in the build-up, stealing 'Taker’s" urn, before emptying the contents over him on an episode of Raw. In a rare set of circumstances, 'Taker was the victim heading into WM XXIX, and Punk, the aggressor, looked like he’d finally realised the severity of his situation as Undertaker made his entrance.

The match was outstanding, and the last true classic of 'Taker’s WWE run. A psychological masterpiece, it saw Punk use his smarts to do everything he could to get inside 'Taker’s head, and he deserves great credit for squeezing a world-class match out of a man whose body was clearly falling apart. Undertaker prevailed in the end, cementing his WrestleMania legacy in a compelling era vs. era match against a similar “once in a generation” talent, though he was only setting himself up for a fall...
