10 MORE Strange Times Wrestlers Appeared In Commercials

8. Kevin Nash Sells...

Now, you might not have guessed this from his laidback demeanour, slow speech patterns, and poor memory recall, but Kevin Nash is rater partial to smoking cannabis - so much so that he launched his own strain this year.

He calls it 'Jackknife', which is apt, since he used to hoist his foes high in the air. An alternative name would be 'Snake Eyes' or, erm, 'Multiple Back Elbows To Cornered Opponent'.

Nash believes in the pain-relieving qualities of marijuana and proceeded with the venture on that basis. That and to make money, obviously. Nash even starred in his own commercial for the strain, which is a sativa hybrid with flavour notes of orange, citrus, and in what must be a very subtle rib, vanilla.

In the advert, various hard-working suburbanites are shown tending to their gardens and running and the like before being summoned by something resembling an ice cream van. The clever twist here is that's actually a weed van.

It's a bit lame, but then Nash emerges from a cloud of smoke and says "Who wants a treat?" and, much like mid-'90s wrestling, he makes it cool.
