5. The Colóns

The Colóns have been so profoundly ignored by WWE for so long that it's become difficult to even fight their corner for a better life on the main roster, or a brighter tomorrow elsewhere.

Primo and Epico have put years into careers that barely ever escaped the endless house show loop, but might they be buoyed by so many others selecting other options during one of the more fertile times in the industry's recent history? Or for that matter, inspired by brother and cousin Carlito's exit nearly a decade ago.

Though he's never wrestled at a high level since, the former United States and Intercontinental Champion has remained in relatively steady demand, not least thanks to an always-helpful Colón lineage that both can also make the best of.

The WWE main roster never used to have hiding places when the post-WrestleMania release sweeps came calling, but the entire paradigm has shifted in recent years. It seems as though there are jobs for life if Primo and Epico particularly want them...but what life exactly is it that they want?
