Rusev and Lana's WrestleMania 34 experience was profiled on WWE Network's '24' special on the supershow, but (as was often the case with the outstanding broadcasts), more is being said with actions than words.

Lana races through the backstage area to catch Rusev's entrance, popular as it was during the throes of the 'Rusev Day' gimmick peaking in spite of company indifference. 'The Bulgarian Brute' himself looks great in the high definition snapshots - and so he should do, they're carefully selected to highlight his best bits before Jinder Mahal goes on to win another f*cking title in his place.

They're then both spoken to in order to wax lyrical on yet more dreams realised, and it's hard not to view the entire thing as a little forced. They are performers that deserve better, know it, but no longer seem to know how to go and make it happen. But therein lies the answer; go, and make it happen.

Rusev's done everything in WWE, been good at just about all of it and only flailed when unsupported by an organisation supposed to be doing the opposite. Lana's an outstanding mouthpiece and valet, and has thus spent more time wrestling than anything else.

Rusev once rode wrestling's most second famous tank. It's time to replicate the movement of the first and fire a significant shot across the bow.
