10 More Terrible Wrestlers With One Incredible Match

8. Papa Shango (vs. Bret Hart)

This writer has always been a bit of a mark for the Papa Shango character. As a kid growing up in the early-90s, there was just something so cool about seeing a witch doctor with muscles tearing through hapless babyfaces on episodes of Superstars. It was a simpler time.

Nobody could accuse Shango of working stellar matches though. Usually, his bouts were on the shorter side, and that didn't mean high quality. Enter one Bret Hart - the 'Hitman', who had recently won the WWF Title from Ric Flair and wanted to prove himself as the biz's super-worker extraordinaire, worked quite the effort with Papa on a mid-November '92 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.

This was a chance for Bret to flex his carrying muscles.

Obviously, Papa did his part too (his beatdown spots were fab), and the pair produced a hidden gem pearler that any Hart fanatic really should go out of their way to see. It's impossible to name another Shango match that comes close to this one.
