10 More Terrible Wrestlers With One Incredible Match
7. Steve McMichael (vs. Ric Flair & Arn Anderson)
Event: WCW Great American Bash 1996
Even some of WCW's most hardcore fans will scratch their heads and wonder what this writer has been smoking. Nothing, for the record, but he has eaten an unhealthy amount of chocolate over the festive period and been reliving hidden gems aplenty via the WWE Network. That might be why Steve McMichael sneaks on here.
Mongo teamed with fellow ex-NFL pal Kevin Greene to face Ric Flair and Arn Anderson at The Great American Bash 1996. Now, being honest, this one wouldn't have been included had members of The Four Horsemen not carried the action.
McMichael deserves some praise himself though; Ric and Arn couldn't wrestle thin air.
This is probably the only Mongo match worth rewatching, and it's pretty incredible that even workers are celebrated as Flair and Arn were able to drag Steve kicking and screaming to this kind of bout. Watch McMichael vs. Goldberg at Starrcade '97 for the other side of the coin.
