7. HHH Recovers In Triple-Quick Time
13 December 2015: Roman Reigns loses a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match to Sheamus, attacks the League Of Nations and in the process of trying to stop him, Triple H is quite literally murdered in the face by The Big Dog and a steel chair. Reigns even Powerbombs and Elbow Drops The Game through the announce table.
16 December 2015: Triple H appears at NXT TakeOver: London without a mark on him.
In kayfabe, Roman Reigns had just seen off one half of The Authority. He'd beaten Triple H down so bad The Game was forced to take time off due to his injuries. This would prove to be the case for the five weeks of television before HHH made a triumphant return at the 2016 Royal Rumble.
However, one rogue appearance by Hunter THREE DAYS after the initial attack where he proved there was absolutely nothing wrong with him threw a massive spanner in the works of a five-week period. After this appearance it wasn't clear why the COO wasn't appearing on television and just left fans watching asking "why?" in a plot hole that was completely avoidable.
