The 10 September 2012 episode of Monday Night Raw from Montreal's Bell Center certainly was an eventful one. Not only did it mark Bret Hart's first appearance back in the city for the company since his acrimonious exit in the same location fifteen years earlier, but it was also the fateful night on which announcer Jerry Lawler collapsed at his desk, having suffered a nearly fatal heart attack.

The King's medical emergency and the plaudits the much-maligned Michael Cole drew for his professional, perfect stewarding of the situation entirely overshadowed the ongoing angle between CM Punk and John Cena. Whilst most viewers were sat hands over mouths in fear for Lawler's life, they probably missed - or weren't in the mood for - a tiny Easter egg nestled ahead of the show's closing segment.

Walking through Gorilla before his Bret Hart mediated confrontation with Punk, Cena stopped to observe a staffer fixing a tablet with a screwdriver. In other words: 2012's Montreal Screwjob. With Bret in the building, WWE simply couldn't resist - even if levity had became the last thing on anybody's mind.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
