10 Most Absurd Characters In WrestleMania History

1. The Giant Gonzalez

The Giant Gonzalez is the answer to many a WrestleCrap trivia question and now, he can add another dubious distinction to his resume as he takes the top spot on the list of most absurd characters in WrestleMania history. An incredibly large athlete who enjoyed limited success as a top babyface in World Championship Wrestling, Gonzalez made his WWE debut in January 1993, attacking The Undertaker during the Royal Rumble match and setting in motion a feud that would produce some of the worst matches in wrestling history. One of those matches was a WrestleMania IX showdown that exposed just how dreadful an in-ring competitor Gonzalez was. Hardly able to deliver a convincing punch or forearm to save his soul, Gonzalez lumbered around the ring, doing his best to look even slightly capable of performing the most basic of strikes. Unfortunately fans did not buy his act, nor did they buy into the airbrushed suit that gave him muscles he did not naturally have. One of the biggest flops in WWE history, both literally and figuratively, Gonzalez remains the most absurd Superstar to ever step foot inside the squared circle at WrestleMania.
