10 Most Absurd Movies Starring WWE Wrestlers

5. Hell Comes To Frogtown

Hell Comes To Frogtown - Roddy Piper
New World Pictures

With a title this absurd, you know you are in for a treat.

While most of the movies on this list are terrible attempts to make something fun or quirky, this film's absurdity is a high-point for it. Hell Comes to Frogtown is an utterly irreverent flick, with no intention of being taken seriously, and this makes it overwhelmingly fun.

It tells the story of Sam Hell (Roddy Piper), who lives in a post-apocalyptic world where few men and women are fertile, thanks to nuclear fallout. Hell is tasked with saving a group of women kidnapped by a horde of mutant amphibians and is forced to do so by an electric cod-piece attached to his genitalia.

This film is just as ridiculous as it sounds, with warrior-nurses, some incredibly lavish visual effects, and a baffling narrative full of wild sexual connotations and a tonne of bombastic action. While it's utterly terrible, there is a tonne of merit to how imaginative and over-the-top it is.

The late Roddy Piper was no stranger to weird movies, but when it comes to the strangest property he lent his name to - this one took the cake.
