After Ronda Rousey joined The Rock to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a cool segment at WrestleMania 31, people were expecting Rousey to make another appearance in WWE.

In part scuppered by her UFC loss to Holly Holm in 2015, Rousey has yet to return to WWE, although most expect that she will at some stage, especially with her imminent return to compete in the UFC. If she wins the UFC women's bantamweight championship back from Amanda Nunes later this month, WWE will be clamouring for her to come back in 2017.

While her showdown against Stephanie McMahon during that prior Mania segment seemed to imply the two could work a wrestling match against one another, a smarter option would be to put a renowned and talented worker like Sasha Banks in the ring with Rousey to get the best possible match out of her. Banks is rumoured to have a big match planned for WrestleMania, and with Charlotte vs Bayley looking likely for the Raw Women's Championship, could Rousey vs 'The Boss' be WWE's plan?
