9. Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs Goldberg
One of the last people wrestling fans expected to see back in the ring in 2016 was Goldberg, whose match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series was one of the most talked about moments in WWE in 2016.
Following the success of his comeback, Goldberg is set to stay in WWE for at least the next few months to extend his feud with Lesnar, likely so that the two can wrestle once again at WrestleMania 33. Many will hope, however, that Goldberg can stick around beyond April and set up another WCW vs WWE dream match we've always wanted to see.
Stone Cold Steve Austin may not have stated any great desire to return to the ring in 2017 but he has been making more and more appearances in WWE in recent years, including a segment at last year's WrestleMania. If any match is likely to coax Stone Cold out of retirement (apart from a match against CM Punk; and we can't see that one happening anytime soon), it's a showdown with Goldberg.
