10 Most Anticipated (Unlikely But Not Impossible) Wrestling Matches Of 2018

9. The Rock vs. Roman Reigns

Admit it: you'd enjoy seeing 'The Great One' return for a short spell to take on the man he tried to endorse at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

This would require a heel turn from Roman Reigns, and that may be a step too far for WWE; Vince McMahon seems determined to shove Roman down everyone's throats until they accept him. Rock would have to play babyface in any situation against Reigns, because there's zero chance he'd be booed for trying to beat up someone long considered Vinnie Mac's pet project. The story writes itself: have Rocky return like an all-conquering hero from Hollywood, one irked by Roman's antics after he beat The Undertaker at 'Mania 33.

Leave McMahon out of it though, please. There's no need for Vince to get involved and act as Roman's manager. Let Rock bamboozle Reigns on the mic, then show Roman's strengths in-ring and have the announcers harp on about how he takes the fight to anybody.

Simple? We hope so.
