In many ways, it's been awesome to watch the likes of Kevin Steen and El Generico grow from working matches against one another in Ring Of Honor, to being re-cast - as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn respectively - in WWE and battling on NXT programming. The pair have long had amazing chemistry, and that is something evident any time they stand across a ring from one another. At the NXT TakeOver: Rival special on the WWE Network in February, Owens and Zayn met for the NXT Heavyweight Title. Going close to 25 minutes, both guys gave their all, and it was clear there was a real desire from the duo to show once again what they can bring to the WWE party, especially if they're allowed the freedom to do whatever they like. Owens has been earning rave reviews for his performances on the main roster against John Cena, showing great athleticism and flexibility for a big guy. At the NXT show earlier this year, that once again came to the fore, but Zayn himself showed a cool level of strength to counter his rival's weight and spin him into a fine-looking Sit Out Powerbomb. The subsequent near fall was magic.
