I don't know what it was but I found Mankind's initial schtick of using one unstable theme to enter a match before using a more reflective piece to leave after winning a beautiful little touch.

Taker twisting him off the top oh Hell In A Cell, and Shawn Michaels cross-bodying him through that Mind Games announce table? All were beautifully done. There was a certain modicum of artistry involved in all of The Hardcore Legend's biggest hits. Bumps like those formed the foundation on which Mick Foley built his legend.
