10 Most Beautiful Beasts In Wrestling History
6. Mankind
Mankind? Beautiful? You can't be serious?! Well I am.
I don't know what it was but I found Mankind's initial schtick of using one unstable theme to enter a match before using a more reflective piece to leave after winning a beautiful little touch.
Then we have the bumps he used to take. Remember when Big Show threw a bouncing Mankind into a grave from afar? Taker twisting him off the top oh Hell In A Cell, and Shawn Michaels cross-bodying him through that Mind Games announce table? All were beautifully done. There was a certain modicum of artistry involved in all of The Hardcore Legend's biggest hits. Bumps like those formed the foundation on which Mick Foley built his legend. They were all beautifully executed as he's not merely falling as you might think. He's controlling his body to ensure the most visibly brutal bump imaginable without killing himself.
Mick Foley has more talent than you give him credit for. Go on, admit it! You knew he was brutal, but you didn't know he was beautiful too did you? Hopefully I have opened your eyes here.
