10 Most Bizarre Hardcore Matches In Wrestling History

7. Anus Explosion Death Match

Chamber Of Horrors
FMW

The object of the Anus Explosion Death Match was for one wrestler to insert a firework into the anus of another wrestler, and then light it.

Promoted well past FMW’s peak drawing years on a schlocky curiosity basis, it sort of worked; for a match held in Korakuen and not the huge stadiums of the heyday, its legend prevails. It’s an unforgettable premise, taking on a life of its own that vastly exceeded its appeal at the time.

The premise works, because the prospect is terrifying. A searing firework ripping you several new assholes, rocketing past your guts, and exploding through what’s left of your internal organs? Who would want to experience that?

….and who wouldn’t want to check it out?

The premise worked, the finish…did not.

Basically, an unmasked Hayabusa, working as ‘H’, wrestled his tormenting doppelganger ‘Hayabusa’ (Mr. Gannosuke), had his anus exploded. Except he didn’t. It was a firecracker, not a good or spectacular firework, and it sparked pathetically nowhere near his asshole.

The structural integrity of Hayabusa’s anus remained intact; the only thing that got ripped off was the fans.
