WCW was the funniest wrestling promotion to ever exist.
It was also the most tragic wrestling promotion to ever exist. It wasn’t bad in a lazy way. It was bad because they shot for the stars with a quite deluded sense of ambition. No idea was too grand. WCW was a simple southern promotion, you might say a group of cockeyed optimists, which just wanted to do mad things.
