10 Most Bizarre WWF Hasbro Figures

3. Repo Man

There are many questions about the Repo Man figure, in the same manner as there are many questions about Repo Man himself. Most of them are "why?", over and over again.

But beyond sheer unadorned incredulity, there are a few particularly pertinent queries with regards to the plastic repossessor. The most glaringly pressing, is why it even exists in the first instance? In stark contrast to his run as Smash in the super-hot Demolition, Barry Darsaw's role as Repo Man was nothing more than a glorified jobber, one lumbered with a drastic gimmick at that. Was he really deserving of a figure when the Beverley Brothers were not? I suppose Nailz earned the miniature treatment, so why not...

Here's another question for you: do you remember how Repo Man was one of the most exhilarating aerial wrestlers in the early-'90s WWF? No?! So, why then, does this figure have the same jumping action as the likes of Shawn Michaels, Jimmy Snuka, and Ricky Steamboat, whereas Owen Hart is doing a clothesline? This is one design that should have been impounded.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
