10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2016

8. Randy Orton

If there were a lifetime achievement award for being boring in wrestling (call it the Triple H Award), Randy Orton would have already won it several times over. This year, he gets off easy - primarily because he was out of action with an injury until July.

Almost all Orton's done since returning to the ring (besides a really disappointing SummerSlam main event with Brock Lesnar) has involved The Wyatt Family, a sure recipe for disaster. In the 15 years Orton's been a featured star, he still hasn't learned how to cut a promo, and that lack of talent was on display every week that he tried to use snake metaphors to threaten "The Eater of Worlds." And those were the good weeks - other times, he'd try to look for Bray Wyatt backstage, then be subjected to supernatural happenings and bad acting.

Of course, the feud ended in less than spectacular fashion - Orton literally said "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," and then did just that, becoming a part of The Wyatt Family. He and Bray are currently the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, at least until their saga takes another compelling twist.
