10 Most Boring Wrestlers Of 2022

9. Hook

Ooooooooooh boy, this won't go down well.

Look, this fan thinks Hook has a bright future ahead of him. He has quiet, brooding charisma and has improved as a worker since those early squashes charmed everyone in late-2021/early-2022. However, when does Tony Khan plan on moving things along a little and ending this FTW Title monotony?

It's a little shocking that Hook was at his most engaging when working a comedy tag gimmick alongside walking curse-giver Danhausen. That was a short-lived experiment though, and AEW returned Taz's lad to singles stardom shortly afterwards. Except...they didn't, not really.

Hook has been treading water (primarily on Rampage) for a while now. Mini-feuds vs. The Trustbusters went nowhere, and his segments typically gobble up valuable minutes on a show that only has 60 to work with every week. 2023 is gonna have to be a bit more thrilling if Hook wants to live up to his obvious potential, put it that way.
