8. Nyla Rose
Where does AEW turn with Nyla Rose next? She's been a physically-overwhelming force and recently branched out to try her hand at some "sports entertainment"-style work. Neither has landed her a full-time spot at the top of the company's women's division, so it's back to the drawing board.
Nyla doesn't have the organic magnetism as a character/star that someone like Jade Cargill does; that star power does a lot of heavy lifting for Jade (her matches rarely delight), but at least it's there. Meanwhile, Rose comes across as somebody who is supposed to be some huge deal yet never actually delivers on that front.
The partnership with Vickie Guerrero and Marina Shafir is also drier than a box of crackers. It's never been properly explained why Nyla hangs around with that duo anyway, so fans struggle to give a toss about it. Yeah, Rose had a very boring 2022 - her TBS Title thievery was tedious too.
