7. Shinsuke Nakamura

The bloom came off Shin's WWE rose years ago.

Nakamura used to be one of the most vibrant performers going. His in-ring style stood out as unique for WWE's main roster, and he was capable of having belting match after belting match on TV regardless of opponent. Now, in 2022, Shinsuke is all-but-phoning it in.

The guy started 2022 by teaming with Rick Boogs. Then, when injuries robbed Boogs of ring time, Shin went solo yet again and became the promotion's ultimate bit part player. Honestly, what has he done that's really worth talking about this year? Challenge GUNTHER for the IC Title? One off. Team with Hit Row? Woohoo.

Some might point to Nakamura as a "utility player". Nah, that's something Sami Zayn does well. He can fit into any role Triple H wants. Shinsuke is just sort of there, and contributing very little to the on-screen product. His appearances are boring because fans know they won't lead to anything.
