Tam's only real spot in WWE throughout 2022 was as either a default tag-team partner or as part of the dreadful 24/7 Title hunt. You might've forgotten all that the dire wedding sh*t creative served up involving Akira Tozawa earlier in the year. That's good, 'cause it was painful.
It was also incredibly boring, which is not something any wrestling wedding should be. Still, what did WWE expect when they put Tamina and Tozawa in there as a possible happy couple? Neither worker connects with live crowds, largely because fans have been conditioned not to care about anything they get up to.
In December 2022, Tamina is a female 'Iron' Mike Sharpe. She's borderline enhancement talent who has longevity so is expected to retain some sort of credibility with an audience who sit around twiddling their thumbs. WWE should either come up with something that provokes fan emotion or stop pretending this is enough.
