There's a huge divide in NXT between the world-class talents the company has scooped up from around the globe and the struggling-to-develop stars they've tried to create or help improve. While we've gotten Sasha Banks versus Bayley and Kevin Owens versus Finn Balor, the developmental brand still hasn't found the proper way to handle Eva Marie or Mojo Rawley. Of all of the floundering "original" talent, none have risen as far up the card as Baron Corbin. A 6'8" former NFL player, Corbin has the height and athletic pedigree WWE craves in its new talent, but he hasn't shown the skill or charisma that all money-drawing stars have to display at some point. Nevertheless, he's been involved in high-profile feuds with Samoa Joe and Apollo Crews, and featured prominently on the Breaking Ground reality show.
