No single moment in the 2014 showdown between John Cena and Brock Lesnar was particularly brutal, but as a drawn-out spectacle, it unquestionably fits the bill. Wrestling is often built around one-sided beatdowns, usually in the form of a main star 'squashing' a lesser-known opponent - but when John Cena plays the jobber role, everything becomes far more shocking and impactful.
