7. Triple H And Undertaker Brutalise Each Other With Chairs
As previously mentioned, the PG era has greatly restricted the amount of brutal spots superstars can pull off in a Cell match. That didn't stop Triple H and Undertaker at WrestleMania 28, who may have bent the rules slightly when planning their 'End of an Era' match at WrestleMania 28. In a desperate attempt to end the Deadman's streak, the Game unleashed a flurry of incredibly stiff chairshots, breaking the weapon over his opponent's shoulders and back. It was an astonishingly visceral moment, especially considering it took place over a decade after the end of the Attitude Era. Undertaker got his revenge later in the match, giving Triple H exactly the same treatment. The Game sold the assault by cowering in a corner of the ring; fans hadn't seen him so powerless since that squash match against Ultimate Warrior some 21 years prior. Although hardly the most spectacular moment in the history of Hell in a Cell, it's easy to see why this chairshot bonanza ranks as one of its most brutal moments. Triple H and Taker weren't softening their blows at all, raining full-blooded shots down on one another's bodies. The noise alone is wince-inducing.
