10 Most Charitable Wrestlers
This Thanksgiving, give thanks to these WWE superstars who have gone above and beyond for charity.
Thanksgiving is that special time of year when many Americans eat copious amounts of food, watch football, and then fall right to sleep.
Another tradition at this time of year is that of professional wrestling, and the Survivor Series. While we can be thankful for a Survivor Series card that doesn't look completely awful, we should also give thanks to the many athletes that do just as much good in the ring as they do out of it.
While WWE is known for their exceedingly successful charity campaigns, from Connor's Cure to their involvement in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, there have been past and present WWE superstars who have gone above and beyond the charitable call of duty.
To give special thanks to these fine human beings, here are the top 10 most charitable WWE wrestlers.
10. The Undertaker
The Deadman has historically been known for such giving acts as tucking his opponents into body bags, gently burying them alive, or even generously throwing them off of a 20 foot cage. In all seriousness, while his eyes may be cold, his heart is most surely warm.
In 2013, Mark Calaway auctioned off his prized customized West Coast Chopper bike called “The Ghost”, where proceeds went to the American’s Mighty Warriors veterans support group in Austin, Texas.
Contrary to being known in association with all things dark and menacing, The Undertaker also has a soft side - literally - thanks to his love of dgos.
With his ex-wife Sara, Calaway established the The Zeus Compton Calaway Save the Animals Fund at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The charity helps fund live-saving treatments for pets, named after Zeus, the former couple’s Mastiff who died in 2004.
