10 Most Charitable Wrestlers
8. Hulk Hogan
There was once a time when Hulk Hogan wasn’t synonymous with sex tapes and racial slurs. 'The Immortal One' has been involved in charity work for diabetes research, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
In 2015, he joined John Cena and Stephanie McMahon for a Special Olympics fundraiser, in which the WWE donated $25,000. In 2015, Hogan partnered with Barrett-Jackson in a car-collector auction to raise over $1 million dollars for U.S. veterans, cancer patients, and children in need. At the event, Hogan specifically raised $150,000 for Connor’s Cure, A HERO Foundation, and The Grace Project, by helping sell a 1969 Camaro Z/28.
One of Hogan's more memorable charities is the 50 Legs foundation, where prosthetic legs are provided for amputees who can not afford them. Hogan has donated his time and money into the organization from 2012-2014. In fact, Hogan's charity work goes all the way back to 1987 where he made an appearance for Jerry Lewis' annual Labor Day marathon that raises money for muscular dystrophy research.
Hogan's character may be in question over the last few years, but his charity work is most definitely not.
