10 Most Confusing WWE Castoffs That TNA Signed

1. Jackie Gayda

Jackie Gayda is most famous in WWE for three things: co-winning Tough Enough 2, being a part of arguably the worst match in the history of Raw and having her nipple exposed on live TV.

When WWE let her go, TNA thought “Oh my God! She’s available to hire?” And so they did hire her, and so it never, ever paid off in any form. She was brought in to yell at Jeff Jarrett, and be mad that Gail Kim was hired in her place (which to TNA’s credit, Kim's hiring was one of the best decision of their existence). In 2005, Gayda won Knockout of the year despite not doing a damn thing!

A storyline that went nowhere was hatched with Gayda, as she was blackmailed into joining Planet Jarrett...which is exactly what she wanted in the first place upon her debut. She then became pregnant and was fired as part of a storlyline, and then let go in real life.

Just think of all those Gayda classics we missed out on had she not been let go. It still hurts to think about.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
