10 Most Controversial Wrestling Tweets Ever

1. Bryan Alvarez's Weekly Ratings Tweet

Every week, Bryan Alvarez, like clockwork, posts the Nielsen ratings that determine the winner of a Wednesday Night War that feels increasingly like the least successful invasion since WCW and ECW joined forces to join Steve Austin in karaoke.

At least that was good patter; NXT's super-intense HAVE SEVERAL ***3/4 MATCHES WITH MINIMAL BUILD INJECTED INTO YOUR EAR CANALS MOTHERF*CKERS approach is decidedly less fun than the competition over on TNT.

As a result - or, if you're Triple H, because AEW is simply "New", remember how Google+ defeated Facebook? - AEW Dynamite tends to defeat NXT more often than not. And every week, Wrestling Twitter steamrolls into the replies with memes lovingly crafted with the result in very little doubt. Some are great - shoutout to Petey McPickle - but there's much entertainment to be had across the board.

The Gundertaker was top value, though in the event of Dynamite ever overtaking RAW, one worries for their health, given that they seem sustained by bragging about a programme that has never performed more poorly.

Dynamite still can't crack a million, they continue to insist as they slowly shrink and transform into corncobs.
