10 Most Cringeworthy WWE Backstage Segments

10. You Can't See Him

It's got the lot, this one.

John Cena's bad acting kicks things off, unable to stand next to interviewer Josh Matthews without jockishly smashing him across the back and gurning like a fool upon heating Eve Torres' terrified squeals.

'The Champ' then legs it across the car park to take out perpetual pet project Kane just before he can abduct her in an ambulance as part of his feud with both Cena and his good mate (and Torres' better half) Zack Ryder.

Torres passionately kisses action hero 'Big Match John' in appreciation for his daft day-saving, but the pair's clinch is broken by the utterly pathetic sight of Zack Ryder's front row seat to the whole charade. Beaten into a wheelchair by the 'Big Red Machine', his rocking up with flowers and chocolates just in time to get cucked by his best 'Bro' remains the nadir in a programme full of career-killing lows for the once white hot 'Long Island Iced Z'.

There's little to even pick at narratively, other than the misogynistic obvious. Cena wasn't destined to turn heel, the only push Ryder was getting was one from the Raw stage, and Torres' supposed 'she-devil' gimmick saw her badly miscast as a manipulator.
