So beloved was Daniel Bryan that fans actively took to hijacking shows, expressing their desire to see the celebrated in-ring competitor receive the push they believed he deserved.

Chants of "YES!" and "Daniel Bryan" rang out in arenas everywhere, even during matches that did not feature the Aberdeen, Washington native. They openly booed John Cena, Randy Orton and Batista in numerous matches and segments, voicing their displeasure for WWE's reluctance to push Bryan in any meaningful way.

With no other choice, Vince McMahon adjusted plans, making room for Bryan and pushing him to the top of the industry.

At WrestleMania, all of the loyalty and support Bryan enjoyed leading into the show paid off as 75,000 fans chanted "YES!" as he made his way to the ring, where he would defeat Triple H clean in the centre of the ring.

Then, in the night's main event, he would survive a Batista Bomb-RKO combination through a table to trap Batista in the YES! Lock and secure the submission victory.

After months of supporting the bearded wonder, fans jumped to their feet, eager to celebrate the win with Bryan, who looked out into the stands in awe, the confetti falling and pyro exploding from the stage, ushering in what should have been a new era for WWE.
