3. Brock Lesnar Falls Short On The Shooting Star - WrestleMania 19

Lesnar had done the move before. In his days as a developing behemoth in Ohio Valley Wrestling, the can't-miss not only astounded all onlookers with his inhuman strength, but with his ability to hurtle his nearly 300 pounds of muscle off of the top rope and execute what is essentially a gainer in diving. In his first year as a full-time WWE performer, Lesnar had never unleashed the shooting star press, wisely saving it for a time when it would truly mean something. That time was clearly WrestleMania 19, in his WWE Championship match with Kurt Angle. Going into the planned finish, Lesnar ascended the turnbuckle and threw himself at the prone Angle. Angle appeared to be a bit too far away, and Lesnar appears to hesitate a bit too much in the moment. As a result, Lesnar didn't quite complete the rotation, and landed squarely on his head in a horrifying sight. They salvaged the finish, and Lesnar would ultimately be alright, but at the time, hearts sank at the visual.
