10 Most Dangerous Wrestlers Under Six Feet Tall

Developing a reputation in the ECW locker room as something of a misery, the 'Human Suplex Machine' was often accused of being more persona than person by fellow Philadelphia fruitcakes New Jack, Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten. But even if the 'Taz' gimmick was just another Paul Heyman success story, the man behind the promotional machine steered into the gimmick by becoming one of the most realistic short-stacked sh*tkickers to ever enter the profession.

An accomplished performer who acutely understood how to exploit his stocky stature, Taz mentally towered above taller foes in ECW by staring them down to their knees then suplexing them into quick sacrifice. A master of beating opponents into literal submission, Taz' ability to snap 'em and tap 'em allowed for believable battles with giants such as 911and Bam Bam Bigelow that translated magnificently in ECW's traditionally intimate and intimidating setting.

Contests such these made matches with others nearer his height a gimme - if he could chop down the mightiest trees, he was more than capable of felling the rest of the forest. Predictably, his size was his primary undoing in WWE. Riding a wave of mainstream popularity in 2000, Vince McMahon didn't fancy the time or toil required to overlooked somebody so 'undersized'.
