10 Most Devastating Kick Finishes In WWE History

2. CM Punk - Go To Sleep

CM Punk might not be the only man in wrestling history to use the Go To Sleep concept for a finishing move, but my word did he make it work in WWE.

The GTS was one of the most protected moves in the company during Punk's run as the top guy in WWE. Rightly so too. Punk was everything fans wanted to see, and needed that devastating finish in his character.

Much like Daniel Bryan with his Running Knee, the beauty of the GTS comes with the fact that it didn't lose any impact whether Punk was face or heel.

The whole set-up around the move was enough to get fans excited while Punk's delivery of the knee to the face made for maximum devastating impact.

It's a testament to Punk that his name is still chanted on a regular basis in arenas around the world.

It can't be argued then that having the GTS as his finishing move added extra allure to one of WWE's most controversial characters.
