10 Most Disappointing Wrestling Entrance Stages Ever

9. WCW Pro

Pro became part of the WCW filming schedule at Disney's MGM Studios (and later Universal Studios Florida) in 1995. Despite being a part of the company's programming for years, the revamped show struggled in a new time-slot of Sunday afternoons and soon became WCW's equivalent to the latter Velocity and Heat.

Boasting an incredibly limited roster and numerous format changes, the show ended up becoming almost entirely about recapping the more successful Nitro and Thunder. Pro was ultimately cancelled just two years after debuting.

One of the standout aspects of the studio filmed run was the entrance stage.

Essentially a cross section of grungy back alley, the set was littered with discarded television sets that flickered the show's logo. It would be unfair to expect a huge amount of set design or quality from WCW's third string show but sometimes less is more.

The set came across like a desperate attempt to appeal to the youth of the time and was caught between gritty realism and fabricated showmanship. Unable to follow through with either, it's more embarrassing than endearing to look back on today.
