10 Most Disappointing WWE Matches Ever

1. Triple H Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania XXV)

Just about everyone said that there was no way a standard-rules wrestling match could do justice to the intense, all-consuming feud waged by Randy Orton and Triple H at the beginning of 2009, which saw Orton kiss his opponent's wife whilst he was tied to the ring ropes, and the Game subsequently stage a "break-in" at Orton's "house".

But though we waited and waited for the last-minute announcement of a No DQ stipulation, it never came, and the match itself - which already had the unenviable task of following Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels - suffered enormously as a result.

We were expecting fireworks, but the pair - despite their rivalry having taken on a new, more personal dimension - ended up fighting a bout scarcely different from another other they had fought in years past.

It was meek, tepid, and just about the most disappointing 'Mania main event of all-time.
