8. New Day Vs. League Of Nations - WWE WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania is supposed to be the night on which the talent raise their game to a level not reached at any other point in the calendar year. They are supposed to go all-out.

What they're not meant to do is wrestle as if they're appearing on a typical episode of Monday Night RAW, which is precisely what The New Day and the League of Nations did here. Circumstances were against them from the start, admittedly.

The League of Nations, who must be assured a place on the list of Worst Factions Ever alongside the Union and X-Factor, were not over in the slightest.

The New Day had only just (sort of) turned face, meaning fans weren't sure exactly how to react. That said, it doesn't seem particular difficult to devise exciting sequences in a short, multi-man tag bout. Yet absolutely all of them where were forgotten almost immediately.

I don't usually advocate excessive and transparent use of legends - especially at the expense of full-time, non-jobbing talent - but the comedy beatdown administered to the League by Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley was almost merciful.
