10 Most Disappointing WWE Moments Of 2020 (So Far)
The weirdest six months ever?
Originally, the whole empty arena escapade was going to pin down this list. That'd be pretty unfair on WWE though - it's not exactly their fault that there's a global pandemic, crowds aren't allowed to gather or that this all happened right before the biggest show of the year.
It sucked that WrestleMania 36 took place with only a whirring fan for company, and it was disappointing, but WWE can't be blamed.
Instead, there are other things to get melancholy about from the first six months of what might be the weirdest bloody year ever. Specifically, things that very much were in Vince McMahon's control, like booking strategies, how to launch major TV comebacks, how title belts were managed and how much pressure was put on wrestlers who had been benched for almost a decade when they returned.
This isn't some skewed, 'McMahon is the devil' rant piece, don't worry. It's simply a look at some of the most disappointing WWE moments from the first half of 2020. Quite why the company couldn't sort some of these things out (more so on the booking side) is actually baffling...
