11 Most Disturbing Family Member Angles In WWE History

1. Boss Man Crashes The Funeral Of Big Show's Father

Take the recent Paige/Charlotte angle, and imagine it one hundred times more inappropriate. You'll land somewhere near the hideous 1999 feud between Big Boss Man and then-WWF Champion Big Show. The storyline lives on in infamy for two key reasons: Boss Man's poem, and the funeral segment. The poem in question is so offensive it borders on being comical. Tt beggars belief that anybody in WWE could have thought this was a good idea. The poem, in full, reads:
'With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked I'm sorry to hear that your dad finally croaked He lived a full life on his own terms Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms But if I could have a son as stupid as you I'd have wished for cancer so I would die too So be brave, and be strong, get your life on track 'Cause the old b*****d's dead and he ain't never comin' back!'
As horrendous as that is, it pales in comparison to the later segment, which took place at the funeral itself. Again, the sequence of events are so offensive they can't really be taken seriously. Boss Man crashes the funeral in a police car, attaches the coffin to the back of his vehicle, and drives away. Big Show gave chase and (rather impressively) dove directly onto the coffin, clinging on for a few desperate seconds before sliding onto the grass. It really has to be seen to be believed, so I've included a video below - which you'll notice still exists on WWE's official YouTube channel because, presumably, they have no shame or, perhaps, think this is actually a classic bit of pro-wrestling entertainment. If this angle has one saving grace, it's that Big Show's father had actually died years beforehand. At least WWE weren't soulless enough to cash-in on a real death (not without waiting a few years, at least). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhSh35ryueA
