10 Most Disturbing WWE PPV Moments You Totally Don't Remember

The next time you're sitting with a non-wrestling friend, fire up the WWE Network and show them Vince vs. Stephanie McMahon from No Mercy 2003. Then, try to stop them from running out the nearest door. Kiss goodbye to your friendship, brave warrior, for you've just confirmed every suspicion they had about wrasslin' being weird.

Seeing a father choke the sh*t out of his own daughter with a steel pipe as she struggles for breath and veins pop out of his muscled arms is disturbing, but it happened. Of course, it was all part of WWE's melodrama, though try telling that to someone who thinks that wrestling stuff is questionable.

Maybe they're right.

Vince vs. Stephanie is the kind of gender vs. gender violence WWE would rather not admit to in 2020. It's the sort of thing any member of the McMahon family would palm off as 'something we used to do' during investor calls. It's all a bit bizarre to watch 17 years on.
