10 Most Dominant Wrestling Stables Of All Time

7. The Corporation

A stable owned and operated by Vince McMahon wouldn't really make sense if it didn't have - or aspire to have - control of every major title in WWE. And yet, the inherent genius of the original version of The Corporation wasn't just that it existed to gobble up every bit of gold available, but that it did so at the expense of McMahon's bitter rival Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The formal arrangement of the group in late-1998 effectively just put a name to what the Chairman had been trying sine 'The Rattlesnake's WrestleMania XIV WWE Championship victory. He'd tried to convert Mick Foley into being his hired gun, he'd fostered the services of a unified Undertaker/Kane combo and even brought back the Big Boss Man for those times when only a nightstick would do.

Yet, Austin prevailed. McMahon's Survivor Series 1998 masterplan alongside The Rock was vast in scope because it had to be. The next night, Ken Shamrock was brought in - and why the f*ck wouldn't the boss want such a bad*ss? Test was tall. The Big Show was taller. Chyna was the key to destroying D-Generation X. These were brilliant bodies to bump for Austin, and equally perfect ones to want to kill him in kayfabe.
