10 Most Embarrassing Wrestling Botches Of 2018 (So Far)

3. Wardrobe Malfunction (ZERO1 Fire Festival - Day 4)

This balls-up took place on a small Japanese independent show only a couple of weeks ago, so you probably missed it. It didn't go viral, but it definitely deserved to, because if this happened on WWE television it'd be the kind of thing fans would be replaying for years.

Though words can't possibly do this calamity justice, what essentially happens is that Chris Vice attempts to powerbomb underrated freelancer Yuko Miyamoto. It goes horribly wrong. Whether deliberate or otherwise, Miyamoto begins to slide backwards from Vice's shoulders. The crotch of his tights then gets stuck on the Australian's head, and the two are left teetering comedically for several seconds, before falling down to the mat with the most awkward sunset flip attempt in history, Yuko's attire finally free of the bald man's bonce.

It's a shame really, as Vice has, by all accounts, been a credit to the ZERO1 roster, and Miyamoto is one of the most watchable independent wrestlers in Japan. Regardless, it's a truly spectacular botch. We'd be remiss not to include it, and it's hard to see it slipping out of the top 10 by year's end.
