10 Most Embarrassing Wrestling Botches Of 2018 (So Far)

4. Great Timing, 'Taker... (WWE WrestleMania 34)

This one gets extra points because it took place on the biggest wrestling show of the year, and featured two of the most important and prestigious performers in WWE history.

Nobody expected The Undertaker vs. John Cena to pan out the way it did. While anyone expecting a "dream match" from these two at this stage of their respective careers had their heads stuck in the clouds, the three-minute squash of a man who'd anchored WWE's main event scene for a decade would've been unquestionable ahead of WrestleMania 34. But it happened, it was extremely sloppy, and the duo contrived their way to a botch that'll ultimately be remembered as the match's most notable spot.

We all saw it, and we all laughed at it. 'Taker running the ropes, coming back with an attempted big boot, but missing Cena by a full foot looked horrendous. He barely connected with John's arms, let alone his face, but while the duo did well to immediately move on from it, their mistimed, miscommunicated screw-up left two vastly experienced competitors looking like absolute donkeys.
