Rose’s botch, an accidental slip, is one familiar to all of us.

While the nature of embarrassment ensures that there is always somebody around to witness and laugh at our trips and blunders, Mandy had a live crowd of 25,675 and “a record 1.1 billion video views across [WWE's] various video and social media channels” to contend with. The uneventful in-ring action, and the duo competing in the Tag Team Turmoil match for under five minutes, didn’t provide any distraction from the entrance blunder.

Though the botch was a simple slip, Rose’s confident strut, sunglasses, and showboating gestures made the situation an incident that you either laughed at or cringed into yourself. The trip was edited out of replays, but the internet never forgets.

On the plus side, the stumble spawned a short feud with Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, after the duo mocked Mandy. This also allowed Mandy to laugh at herself and, along with Dana, ambush and beat down Jax, using violence to regain some dignity (as is the pro-wrestling way.
