10 Most Embarrassing WWE Raw Moments That Happened LIVE

8. Hornswoggle Is Vince McMahon's Son (Sept 10, 2007)

Hornswoggle Vince McMahon Triple H

The Summer of 2007 was dominated by two huge angles.

After WWE abandoned the idea that Vince McMahon had been killed in a limousine explosion (and thank God they were forced into that), attention moved to another attention-seeking story. McMahon had an illegitimate son, and fans would soon find out who it was.

In interviews since, Ken Anderson has claimed that his Mr. Kennedy character was supposed to be the big reveal. That would've made sense, considering the link between Kennedy and Vincent Kennedy McMahon, but it was not to be: Anderson violated WWE's new Wellness Policy, scuppering it. Common sense should have scrapped the whole angle.

That didn't happen. WWE decided to make diminutive comedy relief Hornswoggle Vince's storyline son. Fans collectively groaned at this news, because it meant at least a few more months of tired humour (we get it, he's a midget) and just felt like a colossal letdown.
